2-time ‘Jeopardy!’ winner arrested for 2nd time in less than a year
Court records show 44-year-old Philip Joseph “Joey” DeSena was arrested in Wake County. Philip Joseph “Joey” DeSena, a two-time “Jeopardy!” winner from North Carolina, has been arrested for the second time in less than a year. He was charged with 10 counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, stemming from his alleged possession of sexually explicit pictures and videos showing children. DeSna was booked into the Wake County Jail and denied bond during an initial court hearing. This arrest comes almost a year after his first one, which involved two counts of felony secret peeping due to the alleged recording of a female in a bedroom and bathroom. He pleaded guilty to the peeping charges in July 2026 and was sentenced to 60 months of probation.
