DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) — Durham police are attempting to identify a driver in a shooting at Walgreens that injured a toddler.

Police said the vehicle appeared to be a 2009-2010 Toyota Corolla.

On Monday, Durham officers responded to a reported shooting around 4:45 p.m. at Walgreens at 710 Fayetteville Street.

According to police, a 3-year-old boy and a man were in a car when they were shot, police said. Both were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. The toddler suffered life-threatening injuries and is in critical condition. The man suffered injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening, police said.
